The Kingsport Antique and Rod Club held it's annual Wal-Mart
Cruise-In on Friday night May 22, 2009. This Cruise-In
is held once a year on Memorial Day weekend. There is
no entry fee but donations are accepted to benefit Ronald
McDonald House. There were 300+ vehicles present and $1300
in donations were received for Ronald McDonald House.
Wal-Mart furnished a $100 gift card for the Grand Prize
which was won by a lucky participant. Fifty-Fifty tickets
were sold and a lucky winner received $242 which was graciously
donated to Ronald McDonald House. Donations of $1300 were
received and Wal-Mart donated another $1000 for a total
award of $2300 to Ronald McDonald House. Kingsport
Antique and Rod Club and Rainbow Motors donated 4 new
bicycles which were won by some lucy children.
